now i'll be honest, it had been a piece of crap from day one.
the biggest improvement came about with the replacement of the bolt. with some pretty hot 124gr loads it was a pretty fun range toy, but it wouldn't cycle the 147gr subsonic rounds that it's big brother eats all day long.
a little more tweaking and fiddling this afternoon has it cycling pretty good, and with the wrong box of 9mm....it was feeding a pretty soft load.
SBR is the way to go:

No issues with Ammo usage, going from 16.1" to 10.2" doesn't seem to be an issue. Wish I could say the same for my Colt 9mm SBR. Going to a 10" I have all kinds of Ammo issues.

had this guy out again and seem to have found a load that it likes, or rather an over all length that it likes. it's just about 100% with plated 147g rounds, next step is to see if it will eat round nose cast lead like it's big brother.
