I have a confession. I've never been to one of these before. Can someone advise me on which day(s) are usually best to go, and if there is anything in particular that I should look for or avoid? As a non-FFL, can I bring my own guns to trade/sell with the vendors? I also assume that most of these vendors are cash only.

Friday is definitely less crowded , because most gunfolks , unless retired , work 5 days a week.

I'm not retired , but I am taking the day off to go to the show.

Got too much to do Sat/Sun , and I hate crowds.

I went today, not crowded and easy to walk around and check stuff out... A bunch of AK pistols that take Glock mags were interesting. Glock mags were overpriced

Just bought stickers for me and a friend of mine. I also picked up a holster from Blue Line LLC and let me tell you what, it is well crafted, set up for RMR and doesn't print....I can see myself buying a few more from him.

I didn't get any beef jerky as I didn't see the guy I bought some from last time....

Saw couple of Star 9mm. All steel, blued and in decent shape. Couldn't beat it for the price but do I need another gun?

On the hunt for 000buck 410 handgun (bulk) and 32acp (bulk)... also possibly an LCR 327fed and/ or single-7 327fed birdshead. But interwebs might be the better option dealwise (?)

My neighbor called me up and said lets go. So we did. It was great as far as the lack of crowd. You could see everything. Since we were not looking for anything special we wandered the rooms. I picked up a few odds and ends. We finished the night with dinner and beers.

Most were set up today...

I got there around 1:30. Some empty tables. 3 halls full of crap. Walked thru all of them , got a 30rd M1 carbine mag , a Mec-Gar P-08 mag , and a sore hip.


Wish they'd put all the guns/ammo , trinkets/arts & crafts/non-gun crap and cheap Chinese knives in separate halls

I expected a bigger crowd for the big show.

There are more CZ P10s and Hudson H9s available, but when I tried to work out a trade with a couple of dealers, both of them tried to take my head off.

I bought a P-38 can opener and went home.
