FWIW, I think she should have gotten 25-life since she openly said she intended to kill him even though he was presenting no threat. Same as I think should be for anyone convicted of murder , regardless of race , creed , color , national origin , immigration status or sexual identity/orientation.

I read somewhere that the victim's brother is a Budhist.
Looks like they all had quite the hugfest going on after the sentencing.The brother,the judge....Hell, even a female cop who was present couldn't resist being overcome with emotion and keeping her hands to herself.
I have never seen so much compassion heaped upon a convicted murderer.

Just heard that some kind of formal complaint has been filed against the judge for her actions.
I wonder if she ambled on over and offered to hug and embrace the victim's mother?

I'm no lawyer, but i always heard that you should NEVER put your client (defendant) on the stand. Watched 3 hours of Guyger's testimony and she really buried herself.

Lord in Heaven....if someone murders me and is sentenced in court for the murder please do not allow the presiding judge to hug or console my killer.
I won't have to worry about any relatives wanting to hug him/her because I know damned well that they won't.
