Able to shoot at the Range even if unable to own

My fiance is unable to own a firearm, but has never been shooting and would like to try it. She is a recovering addict, so cannot own, but no violence or anything of that nature. I know shooting helps relax me, and was thinking it would help her as well. Is she able to legally go to a range and shoot?

If she is a prohibited person, she is not only not allowed to shoot, she's not allowed to touch a firearm, OR ammunition. (even without a gun present)
She is not to have ACCESS to firearm, or ammunition. Period.

If she's in your residence and firearms are accessible to her, that's a big no-no.

Hell NO ! You yourself can be implicated in a crime which is making available to a Felon a Firearm ! There are other alternatives for relaxation ! I will ad to emtpmags response if she is in your home the firearms must be secured well with no access to them but yourself so you cannot take them out nor display them while she is in your domicile !

Thanks everyone. No firearms in the house. I've just recently started going to the range again (its been a couple moves and decades since I've been), and before I took her or possibly purchased in the future wanted an answer to this question.

There is the question about being a habitual drunkard or using illegal drugs. What if you stop drinking or using drugs? How long do to have to be sober before you are good to go?
