Re: AR15 Muzzle Device Without Obnoxious Blast?
No, he sounded to me like someone who isn't interested. Just because someone doesn't want to play with the same toys you have doesn't mean they're against you having it.
I can FEEL the fireball as much as I see it but it's not recoil. I don't know how else to explain it though. Ever stand near someone shooting an AK pistol? The brake makes shooting a 16" 5.56 carbine sound/feel like I'm shooting a rifle caliber out of a pistol/SBR length barrel.
I agree with emptymag about suppressors. I'm not interested.Last edited by Misery Loves Shotguns; September 6th, 2018 at 08:00 PM.

Re: AR15 Muzzle Device Without Obnoxious Blast?
This seems like a perfectly reasonable, logical response to me. Followed by this ...
What does political affiliation have to do with anything when the issue with them is cost, wait time, length and weight? Instead of addressing ANY of those points, this is what he has to say.

You can buy a Dead Air Pyro without a stamp, it redirects muzzle flash and blast away from the shooter and it turns the flash hider into a brake. I'm thinking about buying one because I have the Dead air flash hiders on all my rifles for my suppressor.

Dead Air Flash Hider and about the brake.
You can add one of these to the PYRO and it will direct all the blast down range.

Re: AR15 Muzzle Device Without Obnoxious Blast?
So what’s currently on it? I didn’t see it and went back through. If you’re worried about noise stay away from any brakes. If you can feel the flame it’s from the ports being angled back towards you.
You could look into the bcm
https://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCMG...-mod-0-556.htm
I had one of those on my do all gun before I set it up for suppressor duty. I’ve also got a griffin flash comp that does well without a can on it.

Mount a golf ball launcher over your flash hide of choice, it will reduce the blast of any brake or fh that fits. That's how I make my dnt and pistols less obnoxious when I'm feeling nice.
