Default Browning FN Rifle Olympian ?

I have a FN marked rifle it has some pics of a Dragon or a Griffin I believe. It has a custom FN stock I believe. I bought it back in the 90’s and I can’t remember anything about it. It’s been in my safe for a while. It has all the markings of FN on the barrel receiver and rear sight it’s serial number does not have a letter in it it’s is fully engraved all over receiver and barrel stock has a large moose carved in the wood it’s a beautiful rifle. I just need help identifying it and getting a somewhat value on it. I can download pics if I can figure out to do it.

Default Re: Browning FN Rifle Olympian ?

I am going to give you my opinion. I do not believe it is Browning Olympian for several reasons. The Olympian stocks were checkered and engraved with floral patterns. No animals were craved in the stock. Because the Olympian and medallion Grades were not manufactured in the 1st year of production all of those would have a letter in front of or in back of the serial #.
Dragons and griffons were not choices, although, the engravers would definitely carry out your wishes as to what you wanted engraved. Photos would really help.
A Browning would have the name Browning and their address on the barrel.
