Re: Crossing the Masson Dixon Line
Maryland is like New Jersey or New York, I try to avoid anti Constitution states at all costs. It’s a shame, one of my favorite rides took me across the conowingo dam through parts of Maryland back to the Susquehannock State Park in Pa where I would always stop for the overlooks. Once I started carrying, I crossed all things Maryland off my visitation list.

Re: Crossing the Masson Dixon Line
It really sucks that National Reciprocity was poisoned and then killed. If only there was some sort of organization that would protect 2A rights in the States and across the nation.

Anyone with any recent experience, recommendations, comments, on traveling 1-81 through the shit hole MD segment on the way from PA to VA? I'm legal in both States, Will be transporting as required by FOPA in both directions

Re: Crossing the Masson Dixon Line
Sir, thank you for your reply, especially the scoop about "lane change" and "following too closely." That said: some of us are not amongst the privileged, LEOSA few, so we have no alternative other than FOPA.

Don't get pulled over.
Seriously, all you can do is follow the law as written and not do anything dumb. You'll more than likely be fine if you don't give them any reason to stop you. Personally, I like to stop on the West Virginia side of the line and give Maryland the finger after I reholster, but that is optional.

Re: Crossing the Masson Dixon Line
just back from my VA trip. took the "four lanes of traffic, bumper to bumper, all the way down to within 50 miles of Front Royal VA. Saw exactly ZERO LE the entire way through the shit hole of MD. There was so much traffic, the vehicle I was in was one amongst 100's at any given point. Return trip via I-81, 12.3 miles through MD and placed myself just above speed limit when there were no other vehicles around me, or, just a bit slower than those who were clearly the ones who would have been stopped before me, given the speed they were going.
One a side note: gotta love VA. Country store in Fort Valley. Able to stock up on drinkables all the while standing in front of a showcase displaying for sale ammo of various calibers ranging from .300WInMag to .22LR, with .40S&W and .357Mag also shown. Couple guys hanging out chewin' the fat about whatever while open carrying their Glock 17's. 'MERICA!!!!!!!! Can you imagine that in what our State is turning into?
