He's doing it because he it was one of the promises he made on his campaign which gained him support from the Humane Society of America and other anti hunting, anti conservation groups like PETA. Make no mistake they Will still be controlled by elimination just by government contracted sharp shooters at the cost of the tax payer, then their carcasses will be thrown whole into a dumpster. Just as long as your next door neighbor can't do it it's alright.
