    Magnetic ammo can labels.
    Interesting concept.

The duct tape I used years ago is difficult to remove as is the clear medical tape I've tried.
I'm down to painters tape which I doubt will last for more than a few years

    Source, pics of magnetic labels?
    How well do they adhere?

    Buckets of ammo.

Since I fell down the rabbit hole of rifle shooting, my other stuff has been neglected. Usually keep a 1000rd of 556 and 9mm around though, slacking on maintaing the 556 inventory. Need to buy more

Have a ammo box of 3.5 00 for shotgun days, and another ammo box of blackpowder pellets.

Magnetic labels sounds excellent. Except I have a ton of plastic ammo cans...and regular labels just fall off them in a week or so.
Need to get some super adhesive labels or something.

I bought a $25 Brother label maker for can labels. Labels remove fairly easily and can be used for many other purposes.

I have two Brother PTouch label makers. Both of them work great, one of them will take up to 1" labels and it can be connected to PC. So far the only thing the labels won't stick to is the plastic squeeze bottles I use in my spice cabinet for things like vinegar and oils. Everything else the work great. Even using the knock off labels I got from Amazon have been perfect.

I believe that's the ticket for me.

I reorganized my ammo last weekend, and went to Wally world with the intention of buying a labelmaker. The cheapskate in me won out, and I bought a couple packs of sticker labels and a sharpie.

On the plus side, I finally have my ammo cans labeled, where I used to have to open each one until I found what I was looking for.

I have my labels made by Vista Print. They are basically magnetic business cards but with caliber designations on them. They stick great. Been using them for 2 years now.

Cost is about 35 cents each. I sell them at gun shows for a buck each. I can bring you some to the next group shoot or see me at the Wash gun show in Sept.

When the fudge has it stopped raining this summer? Not in Elk County.

Anyone else go through this or are you detail oriented enough to have everything organized immediately after UPS delivers?
I have everything in ammo cans stacked on three Gorilla Rack shelving units, or sitting on those inexpensive castered wooden or black plastic moving dollies from Harbor Freight slid under my gunsmith work/reloading benches. The cans are marked with Dymo white lettering labels so I don't have to root. My ammo supply kinda looks like the last scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark.
