    Default Ammo inventory

I'm getting ready to move a gun safe into another area and partially cleaned up the shithole that used to be a garage.

Since I'm in cleanup mode, I decided to start gathering boxes of ammo and transferring the contents to ammo cans etc etc.

I put some shelves in and started sorting through the pistol ammo and organizing it.

The rifle ammo. well this might take some time as i want to do a count of caliber and make of ammo.

I was finding a case of X39 here and there was another under a table and damn, there's the case I wanted , couldn't find and got another.

I started out with the X39.

550 round tins of Chinese. The open one, I took out what was left to count it and get it into an ammo can.
Then, during the course of gathering everything I thought I had, more would pop out of cans i took to group shoots, range trips, etc etc. so had to add that count to the main count.

Half a case of Egyptian. 3/4s of a case of Golden Tiger. Most of a case of Wolf and a full case of WPA. Then german plastic cored steel.

It appears, I need to get the AK and SKS's out to run more often. (Not done with these yet).

Shotgun. I got a few hundred 00 buck, a hundred slugs and a few hundred 7 1/2 shot which I was going to take a Randy Cain shotgun class that lacked enough interest to proceed. Now, the plan is to use some of the 7 1/2 for the pumpkin shoot in Oct.

Hunting slugs in BRI sabots, Winchester sabots, Copper solids, Lightfields, some Hornadys, rifled slugs etc etc.

I'll continue on a rainy day.

Anyone else go through this or are you detail oriented enough to have everything organized immediately after UPS delivers?
Opinions are like anal apertures. They all stink but mine.

    At least I tried.

All in ammo cans on a pallet with my magnetic ammo can labels on them. Stuff can get lost in my 1700 square foot shop. Its really the only way to keep track of 30k rounds of assorted ammo.

Organized, he he he. (That’s an LoL) cans, buckets, basically any opaque non-labeled container in as hard to get to spot as possible. Once fired cases and cast bullets in the mix. It’s my 2A version of puzzles for retirement. Never organize today what you can put off for tomorrow.
