    I have 2 that do it with steel surplus stuff. As others have said, either polish the hell out of the chamber or stick with the ppu stuff. I just deal with it when I shoot the little bit of surplus I have left. When that's gone I'm going to use the ppu and reload the cases.

    Thanks, folks. I think I'll get to polishing the chamber as soon as I go on break. I've certainly got enough surplus to make that worth it.

    Take a spent steel case.. coat the narrower end.. not the rimmed end with a sharpie. Take the spent case and rechamber, cycle the bolt again and look to see where the sharpie was worn away. That will show you where is grabbing and give you a good idea where to start your work in the breech.

    This is assuming, you have already tore down the bolt, cleaned any surplus cosmo out and then gauged the firing pin with go/no go after reassembling.
