Re: Clean, yes or no
One of the reasons I sold my HiPoint carbine was because it was such an ordeal to break it down to clean it.
That was before I stopped worrying about silly stuff like cleaning dirty guns.I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

rarely clean any guns, Maybe once a year. Never had any malfunctions really with trusted guns. I have a 10mm 1911 from RIA that is so tight im scared to dissassemble it. I take the slide off and just keep spraying everywhere till it runs clear It malfunctioned when i first bought it, so i took it apart, couldnt get it back together, had to send it back, they replaced everything except the frame with new parts, never going to take it apart again if i can help it. hasnt malfunctioned since with about 1k rounds of super hot 10mm.

Just hose it out with Zippo or Ronsonol lighter fluid.
As long as your aren't shooting cast lead out of it, it won't get that dirty.

Once you clean it, this is how to reload it-

Re: Clean, yes or no
Great posts, all.
Seriously though, there are numerous threads on this topic. Personally, I’ve never cleaned a new firearm before I shot it and never had any issues. I’m about half ocd though and my conscience would never permit me to put a firearm to bed dirty.
