    Question Clean, yes or no

I just picked up today a new Hi Point 380 pistol with the compensator on it. To clean it you have to take the compensator off and take a punch and drive out a role pin to clean it before I shoot it. My question is, "should I go to the all the trouble of cleaning it first or trust that the factory did a good job of cleaning it after production" ? I would like to hear your thoughts on this. Joe

Its cast zinc, there aren't going to be any metal filings inside of it.

Can of spray cleaner, gun scrubber, hoppies new medic stuff, balistal, whatever and a bore snake. Oil it. That’s all it ever needs in the way of cleaning.

Comp on a hi point?! Hope it’s got the $100 bill dip.

Rack it a hundred times before you shoot it. It will break it in.

Bring it to the group shoot on Saturday. I'll test shoot it for you.
If it blows up in my hand though, you get no bacon.

I didn't think anyone cleaned Hipoints. When they get dirty, you throw them away and buy a new one.
