Default Did someone call the police?

I stopped by Giant to pick up three things. I was in and out within 5 minutes. Open carrying a Springfield 1911 Milspec in a tan Galco holster.

Nobody said anything. As I'm walking out to my car, I see a Hatfield police officer walking at a brisk pace toward the store. As I buckle up, I see in my rearview another Hatfield PO walking toward the store from the opposite direction. As I start the car, a Hatfield PO pulls into the spot right next to me (he didn't see me in the car). I pulled out of the lot and went home.

Was this coincidence? Did someone report MWAG and three officers responded to me?

As I did nothing wrong, i decided not to stick around and see what the commotion was about.

If you look out your window, you'll see a tank and a swat team. Good luck.

Honestly, your scenario is one of literally hundreds of possibilities. Cops show up at places, they do things. Could have been a disturbances, suspected theft, woman going into labor, group of kittens found on fire, fight breaking out, criminal siting or mwag. We will never know.

You could have always walked up them and yelled "I HAVE A GUN" to see what happens

Maybe, maybe not. I seem to remember Giant being on the "no go list" for carry. Could be you were reported by an overzealous loss prevention employee.

Or, it could be someone was in the process of being caught stealing or any other thing.

You're not in trouble, I'd let it go.

Practice 100 times "Am I being detained?" before you go shopping again. It's good to stay sharp.

Maybe a robber decided it was time to rob the store when he saw that you had left the store.
