Didn't go to the auction , so I'll head up there shortly. Might stop in Zern's one last time on the way home.

If you do I'd like to hear what, if anything is going on there. It is a depressing site.

Got there about 1:30. Maybe 6 people walking around. Walked thru real slow and checked every table. Left at 2:00.There were some good deals on ammo. One of the used ammo sellers had 5 boxes of Port 7.62 NATO tagged at $12 a box. Bought 4 boxes of Yugo 8x57 Mauser from him for $8ea.

It was a disappointing show. I heard several people commenting that they were going to try to get a refund on their admission. My brother mentioned on the way there that there was no "Gun Show" sign at the street coming off the highway. Perhaps that had something to do with the low turnout. What caused low vendor turnout I have no idea.

Lots of flooding around the area. Lee sport has been going down hill for a few years. Ed’s gun shop doesn’t bring the amount or quality/varieties they used to. I’ve been wondering about their store for awhile. Kind of crappy weather too. All reasons for low turnout. I was thinking of going.

You can add summer/vacation time to that list. Oaks was smaller for that reason.

Yeah , probably 2/3 of the stands were empty. Couple of the produce stands were still open. Not many people walking around. Got some fruits & veggies , and some beef sticks & jerky.
