Hello Everyone. I have a Question regarding my Juvenile Record.
Does anyone know how to view your Pennsylvania juvenile delinquency history?
This happened in Berks County in 1987- I was 15 Years old and don't remember the exact Charges I plead to.
I would like to Cross Reference this against the Prohibited Persons List and haven't read anyone asking this question in another Post.
Thank You For Your Time

Re: Hello Everyone. I have a Question regarding my Juvenile Record.
If you are considering buying a firearm and don't know if you are prohibited, then the best thing to do is to consult with a lawyer that specializes in gun law.
Attempting to purchase a firearm when prohibited can result in prosecution, and PA has been aggressive in this regard.
A gun lawyer can tell you with certainty if you are prohibited or not, not just any lawyer, make sure it is a lawyer that specializes in gun law.
I recommend GunLawyer001 on this forum, but there are others out there.
You may want to send him an email and see what he tells you.

Yeah, watched a kid try to purchase at Cabela's once who was prohibited. PSP gets there real quick from that sub-station across the street.

They're not supposed to use Juvi records , but they're not supposed to have a registration of handguns either.

Re: Hello Everyone. I have a Question regarding my Juvenile Record.
Actually they are supposed to use juvenile records for the prohibiting offenses for 15 years after the last adjudication delinquent or to age of 30, which ever comes first.
18 Pa.C.S.A. § 6105
§ 6105. Persons not to possess, use, manufacture, control, sell or transfer firearms
(c) Other persons.--In addition to any person who has been convicted of any offense listed under subsection (b), the following persons shall be subject to the prohibition of subsection (a):
..
..
..
(7) A person who was adjudicated delinquent by a court pursuant to 42 Pa.C.S. § 6341 (relating to adjudication) or under any equivalent Federal statute or statute of any other state as a result of conduct which if committed by an adult would constitute an offense under sections 2502, 2503, 2702, 2703 (relating to assault by prisoner), 2704, 2901, 3121, 3123, 3301, 3502, 3701 and 3923.
(8) A person who was adjudicated delinquent by a court pursuant to 42 Pa.C.S. § 6341 or under any equivalent Federal statute or statute of any other state as a result of conduct which if committed by an adult would constitute an offense enumerated in subsection (b) with the exception of those crimes set forth in paragraph (7). This prohibition shall terminate 15 years after the last applicable delinquent adjudication or upon the person reaching the age of 30, whichever is earlier.RIP: SFN, 1861, twoeggsup, Lambo, jamesjo, JayBell, 32 Magnum, Pro2A, mrwildroot, dregan, Frenchy, Fragger, ungawa, Mtn Jack, Grapeshot, R.W.J., PennsyPlinker, Statkowski, Deanimator, roland, aubie515
