I only ever bought 1 firearm from Cabelas. Taurus 24/7 Pro Gen 2 had been out about 2 years.. they had a new Gen 1 in the showcase marked down. Talked to the clerk who was a veteran. He marked it down another 20% bring it to 50% of a Gen 2. My thought was to get it, shoot the piss out of it, and send it in for the Recall exchange.. now I like it more than the Gen 2 so might just keep it LOL
Same here, it was a very convenient meeting place when buying/selling with folks from the Harrisburg area.

Be careful with the car analogy. They'll throw registration at you.

They're all high end bicycle ads and the video links in the post is for mountain bike reviews.

Interesting. I was just up there today and didn't notice any of this nonsense. I only checked out the gun library and the used rifles, but nope, no gun locks. They must have changed the policy rather quickly

Very interesting, the new company wide policy didn't last a week? When we were there last Sunday....most had a plastic lock, while others had a bigger, green lock. Every gun, including in the library. I took a pic of the 586....

From now on, every firearm has a trigger lock that goes with the gun. The store personnel are not allowed to remove them. You must buy the gun and you can check the action, trigger...whatever...once the gun leaves the store.
Everyone should go there....express great interest in a purchase.....ask to see a handgun to try the trigger.........and if refused by this asinine policy turn around and leave...............OVER n OVER again.

Let them imagine the lost sales.................

It wasn't busy when we were there, and there were a few firearm counter employees in the conversation. They all agreed it was a bad policy for sales, and suggested I contact corporate. Everyone was very nice....and not happy with the policy. One suggested...and asked if I wanted to speak to the store manager....but added that it's corporate and the manager can do nothing.
