And if you throw gun owners under the bus, don't cry when they avoid you.

That's our friend Dan that got duped by Sacha Baron Cohen. His shit is rarely funny, it's mostly mean spirited garbage. It's my hope he pisses off the wrong person and winds up dead.

LOL. Throw gun owners under the bus as YOU see it. Personally, I think it taking 10 minutes to legally buy a gun is awesome. Everyone see things differently. Its what makes the world go round.

I think the OP is suggesting a course of action if confronted with media interview requests. Considering the nearly unrelenting push of sometimes blatant misinformation and frequent out-of-context quoting or glaring obfuscation by the media, it IS a good suggestion to avoid the media. If it is their purpose, any 'investigative' reporter worth their salt can twist your neutral or conservative phrases into something, at a minimum, is embarrassing to you, up to and including something that promotes their currently leftist/socialist agenda so prevalent today.

Remember right after the Trayvon Martin event, the UPROAR when the 911 recording first came out? Zimmerman had supposedly ignored police orders to leave the scene and then he shot. Turned out the recording had been doctored by one of the socialist media's sound engineers and THEN published on air. Took an actual recording, juxtaposed the sequences, and made it look like Zimmerman was a hunter. The actual recording was released later, with the usual and pathetic apology, but how do you undo that?

But, yes, of course, this is America, the home of free enterprise - your business, you can do whatever you want, legally.

I was interviewed by The Patriot News/PennLive about the Marcus Brown as PSP commissioner kerfuffle. I talked to the guy at length and he seemed like a decent guy that wanted to get to the bottom of what was going on. He took three or four sentences from a 10 or 15 minute interview and made me sound like a vindictive prick.

I contacted him afterward and tore him up one side and down the other. His defense was that I said those things and the context was unimportant. I told him what I thought of him and his "reporting" to the point he got very defensive.
