    Default 5,56 Ammo

Just getting into 5.56. What is a good price for range ammo? PSA has AMERICAN EAGLE 5.56MM 55GR FMJ 150RDS - XM193BK150 for $39.99 with free shipping. Good deal or not???? Thanks,

I wouldn't pay more than .30 cents per round for 55 grain nowadays.

.25-.26c is becoming more common. Hopefully it keeps going down.

Thanks everyone. Looks like this is an OK deal at .266 cents a round.

Get into reloading, you can make 55 grain for 20 cents all day long.
If you like the 75 grain variety you can load those for 30 cents

If you can get past all the pretended bad information on the net your best bet for cheap plinking ammo is something in the steel cased variety.

I would recommend staying away from Tula however Wolf, Or any of the Bear offerings should be good to go.

SG Ammo is a great place to shop.

This. I'm switching over to 68gr loads myself vs 55 because with the time factor being the same I might as well make the 50c a round ammo for 27c than the 30c round for 20c.
