    Default Lancaster area shooting club

Ok guys, Im looking to join somewhere I can go shoot. Looking for somewhere that has pistol and rifle. Would like a outdoor range minimum 100 yards although would like farther. Not interested in Millcreek as I had a bad experience there and vowed not to go back.
Looking to join somewhere as soon as possible.
    Thanks

Not to bad. Thats about 40 minutes from my place. How are they on rules? Are you allowed to draw and shoot from the holster?

I'm not sure about that...you'll want to ask via email.

    There's also http://www.palmyrasportsmens.com/HTML/index.shtml

Palmyra has 3 handgun "pits" where you can draw and shoot to your heart's content. They run a huge plate match down there every year, I think it's all an old quarry on site. They also have a 24/7 indoor range in the basement, was 9 lanes when I Was there but was being expanded. If you can't, you can get all the lead you'll ever need from the traps anytime you want. I used to back my truck up and have a nut carrying drywall buckets in/out.

The rifle range is nice, goes out to 200 yards.

    FYI, Conewago requires slow shooting:

I heard that Southern Lanc Co has a similar rule, but maybe things have changed.

    From Conewago:
    3. No firearms / magazines may be loaded with more than 10 rounds regardless of the capacity.

    4. No rapid fire on the ranges at any time. After each shot and before the next a minimum of one second of time must elapse.

I couldn't find any range rules for SLCFSA posted on the website. Unfortunately, the newsletter is only available to members and requires a sign in on the site.
There is this though from a few years back: http://forum.pafoa.org/showthread.php?t=262138
