Thanks - I should have stated that I am only interested in discussing Pennsylvania law while I am in Pennsylvania.

I am aware of the prevailing belief of the dominant personalities here regarding the applicability of 18 USC 926(a) for a journey of this type, have had this discussion with them before, and want to avoid debating/litigating it again.

So is Pennsylvania in a state of emergency right now, and likely to remain so through Labor Day weekend?

Frankly, I don't have any intention of OC during this trip. Erie is a blue area and I don't think it would go over well while we are on vacation. Married guys have to strike a balance - CC would be ideal, but Kane has taken that off of the table.

What WOULD be awesome, though, is for folks to lobby on our behalf to change the non-res LTCF requirement so that folks don't get turned away just because they don't have a permit they can't possibly get. I've reached out to state reps there, and have yet to get any traction at all. I'm not a constituent, so I guess they don't care.

Believe me when I tell you, I would love to leave NJ. Governor Murphy is a nightmare, and my town's mayor is a Marine whose exasperating ignorance of firearms and love of spending and gun control is just wonderful.

$25K/year property taxes, income tax, sales tax, leave-the-state tax, death tax, now they're proposing a TAP WATER tax, tariffs, fees, the lousiest toll roads...

But I have no idea what I'd do for a living if I left this area. It will have to wait until my son graduates - then, as Dennis Miller used to say, I AM OUTTA HERE.

The state of emergency will continue as long as Wolf remains Governor.

Sheesh - I can tell just by looking at the guy what party he belongs to and his attitude about the 2A.

    Here's to him being a one-termer. 2019, right? Buh-bye Wolf...

He looks the way I would imagine a shriveled penis wearing a hat would look when it takes its hat off.

Here's how many of the anti-gun Democrats wind up looking like after the Feds finally get fed up with their shenanigans. Maybe PA will catch a break and be free of this clown sooner than expected.

Seriously, isn't violation of the oath of office perjury in every single state? (It should be an even more serious crime)

All law is just words on paper when the people don't hold their elected politicians to account.
