Re: .22 Suppressor host
I shoot my M&P suppressed quite a bit; very good option.

Re: .22 Suppressor host
Disclaimer - I'm a Ruger fan and collector. I would go with a threaded MkIV or 22/45 Lite. In my experiences both will shoot just about any ammo you put through it however, you will still want to try different types and see which gives the best accuracy. That said, I know people who have S&W Victorys or the Brownings and they love them.

Re: .22 Suppressor host
I have a friend that swears up and down that his SR22 is the pinnacle of suppressed .22 shooting. Personally I'm putting my can on the Precision Rimfire when I finally get to bring it home. I have a 22/45 that I'd like to put it on, but no threads I'm a huge Ruger fanboy though, so I think my opinion is slightly biased.
I just love shooting.

Re: .22 Suppressor host
I’ll go old school and suggest the Smith & Wesson 422, 622, and 2206. I believe they were made as a “budget” model 41 as there are many similarities. Great suppressor host as the barrel is where the guide rod is on most other pistols, which means no worries about switching sights. Good, accurate, and reliable .22’s. EWK arms sells suppressor adapters for under $30 and are a simple install.

I use a Ruger 22/45 lite and a SIG 1911/22.Both are finicky with sub sonics. As in some won't cycle, but they sure are quiet. Try a bolt action rifle for real quiet. Subs or shorts are scary quiet.

Re: .22 Suppressor host
Ruger SR22 is an excellent suppressor host, eats every junk brand of 22 I have tried.

Re: .22 Suppressor host
Another vote for Mark IV 22/45 Lite. Magazines are cheap and readily available as well. I've been happy with the way mine performs with a spikes tactical buckwheat suppressor.
