.22 Suppressor host
So I知 undecided what to get. I like the SR22, M&P22 compact but also the Ruger mk4 is an option as well. It痴 primarily gonna be a plunked but I値l be shooting squirrels and stuff in my yard. I知 waiting for a silencerco spectre 2 that I should see around Sept. give me some opinions

You'll get a lot of opinions, however I've been shooting Ruger Mks for decades, and you won't find a better plinking pistol anywhere. I haven't had a Mk 4 (yet) but I do remember reading that there were some issues with it. The others are bullet proof, no pun intended.

I'm in the same boat. My stamp should come in sometime around November/December.
I have it narrowed down to the Mark IV or the S&W Victory.

Re: .22 Suppressor host
I have the M&P22 and while I like it, it's super finicky with ammo when I have my can attached - not so much without in its base configuration. That said I'm actually looking at picking up a MK4 for reliability purposes. I liked the fact that the M&P had a similar feel to the Glocks that I typically shoot.

You can't go wrong with either one of these.

I'll be the net nanny and mention that you can not use semi auto hand guns to hunt with, even in your own yard.
Only saying this due to the involvement of an NFA weapon and now potentially inviting the PA Game Commission to have a chat about breaking their laws with federally registered items.
Rant over
I love my Buckmark with the Tac Sol Trail-lite.
The M&P is a nice little plinker as well.HGW, llc ~ Title 1 & NFA sales/manufacturing ~ Transfers - Title 1 $20 - NFA $50

Go with the Ruger MK series, or Victory simply because you have the quick and easy option to mount a red dot especially if you looking to smack tree rats at some distance.
My pick would be the 22/45 Lite.Join the GOA & save $5.00. https://www.gunowners.org/mac-subs-join-goa.htm
