Default Ithaca 37 DS Police Special

I had to sell my old 1964 ithaca 37. I found a DS Police Special on GunBroker and bought it. It was made in 1976. It is parkerized with walnut furniture. The barrel is 20" long with a 7 round magazine.

Congrats on finding a great shotgun!

I have one identical to that which you described, ex-PSP. The 8 rd mag is kept full at all times.

    Great find indeed!

I got a mint one at Tanner's for $199 a few years ago. It's parkerized with wood furniture, but without the extended mag tube.

I'm still looking for a 28" full choke/vent rib version for shooting trap.

Stevens 620 was the first shotgun I ever bought myself. Paid $75 for it. Great shotgun. Still have it. It sits watch as my home office shotgun.

I've been looking for a reasonably priced Ithaca 37 riot or police special with the 7-shot tube for a while now. Ithaca currently makes a "Home Defense" version of the 37 with an 7 shot tube and walnut stock, but it is much too expensive and hard to come by. Plan B was buy an old 37 and convert it to a long mag tube, but that's a lot of work.
