I have to drop someone off in Phila for a few hours so I have time to kill. I'm getting my girls iPad battery replaced while there in order to kill two birds.

The reason I like to street park is that there are fewer chances of door dings. I always pull my mirrors in and my Mazdarati :-)

And more chances of a sideswipe. And fewer chances of finding a spot in under 30 minutes. I used to work on Walnut near 3rd, and drove Walnut to get home - I wouldn't park on walnut if you paid me AND paid for the spot.

I made it back from Philly safe and sound.

We went to The Dandelion for dinner and then headed to South Street.

I was a little surprised that when we parked curbside I immediately smelled pot from my enclosed car! Three guys smoking publicly in front of a store. When we got out, I saw 4 cops walking on the sidewalk coming towards us. "These guy are going to get snagged" I told my girl. Nope.... cops walked right passed them. I stopped working about printing after I saw that.

I loved the crazy people on South Street. I could fit my girlfriends dress in the palm of my hand and she was clearly over dressed there!!!!

The Dandelion sounds like a gay joint. I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed South Street, it's one of my favorite destinations down there. And I feel less demented since other people like it too.

I gotta get down to South Street one of these nights.I haven't been down there since Tower Records closed down years ago.
