There's self parking at 18th and Walnut next to the Barnes and Noble book store.

Yup easy and convenient, but not cheap (par for the course in that area though). Remember Philly is extremely walkable.

WOW!! Thanks for the input from all. I prefer to street park because I'm paranoid about my Mazdarati :-) getting a door ding. How does street parking work near the Apple store? Coins? Credit cards?

If you're worried about your car, definitely do the self-park garage at 18th and Walnut. Door dings vs. mirror getting hit or someone messing with it on the street.

Street parking is probably through one of the kiosks that you pay at and input your spot number, but I can't remember exactly. Of course you'll spend 20 minutes finding a spot first!

The Apple Store is on the west side of Broad Street in the teens. I would stay in that area to walk and eat and stay away from South Street. It can be nice during the day, but it is Philadelphia’s Boardwalk and a shit show especially at night.
