i didn't even think that aluminum stock would be an issue to obtain, never actually looked though. my projects would mostly be wood crafts.
soda cans are supposedly mostly manganese so i'm not sure if thats viable.
It’s been done. He also made an AR10 lower out of brass casings . For the AR15 he used 200 something cans.

Without reading all 17 pages, the files are available from a lot of other places, I just downloaded all the them. Only took a few minutes, comes in at about 320 megabytes. Someone (or maybe everyone) should download these and write them to a couple of CDs then mail one to the AG and one to the Guv.

I made a replacement grip for a grabber stick. The design software is pretty cool stuff. I don’t see why stl files are the big tado when you can design your own. Blue prints aren’t restricted or hard to get on a 60 yr old or so design. Soon it will be a curio/relic, then what? I don’t buy this new idea that gangs are turning to manufacturing rather than stealing. If they weren’t lazy bastards in the first place, they wouldn’t be criminals. It’s funny how Cody won his lawsuit and the next day the fake news has police reports of criminal gangs printing up guns and using them in the commission of crimes. Horse shit. I suppose the top brass at fbi didn’t cover up Hillary’s crimes and never created fake evidence to harm Trump.

Citizens have been making their own guns since the beginning of citizenship because people were making their own guns before we had a country. Neanderthal made his own weapons before modern humans were a thing. People in the most repressive countries make their own guns. We as a free people shall have no question on their right and ability to create their own guns. It’s what you do with the gun that is subject to regulation, and that, only in connection to infringement of other people’s rights, who have not, by their own actions forfeit their rights and protections under the law.

I always wondered how the first lathe was built without a lathe to make the parts on.

Get in line...there is a several month wait and it will cost you 2k. The printers Cody sells come preloaded with the plans for a AR and a 1911.

The cat is out of the bag and there is nothing they can do about it. These files are no different than those held in the Library of CONgress. I think its absolutely hysterical how the Left is now attacking these files on a 1st Amendment level. At some point they won't want us to have any rights...oh...wait...Isn't, that already...
