Re: TAURUS FIREARMS !
I have a PT-1911 built in Aug '08 Bought it in Jan '13. Cerakoted it last year due to rusting on the slide (I sweat thru the back of my hybrid holster during a very long, hot match), and have changed the recoil and firing pin springs. I've got a solid 15,000 rounds thru it with no other issues that weren't caused by my reloads. Clean, crisp 3¾lb trigger, and more accurate than me. I carry her (slightly younger) twin sister.

Re: TAURUS FIREARMS !
I have a Model 85 in Satin Nickle that has been through thick and thin since 1984 with nary a problem.
It's even been customized with a DAO trigger job.
Oh the horror!

Re: TAURUS FIREARMS !
I had a PT 92 AF years ago; perfectly reliable, but was one 9mm more than I needed. Had a Taurus Model 94 .22 revolver; never worked right despite sending back and getting it back. Have a Raging Thirty; only double-action .30 carbine revolver that I know of. It has a 10inch barrel, weighs a ton, and can be used as a boat anchor if necessary. Actually, I keep that one as a collector's item. I have considered getting one of their .380 revolvers, but somehow can never quite convince myself.

Re: TAURUS FIREARMS !
I read they licensed a Wilhelm Bubits design for their new T series.
If I was ever going to buy a Taurus, that would be the one.
