    Default Grip chop?

    Anyone have a grip chopped M&P? Thinking about taking a 9FS to a 9c.

Is there anyone who recommends this or can point in the direction of a good local Gunsmith who can do it?

    I’m in the Reading area.

    Thanks!

    Mike

Not local, but Dave Bowie at Bowie Tactical does these. A few years back I was at TDI in Ohio for their Advanced Concealed Carry Class. Dave was the primary instructor, he was using a chopped M&P.

I had the chance to shoot it... pretty nice. I was planning to send one of my 19s to him for a chop and grip reduction job. Never did, might still though.

Thanks, Bud! I’ve been looking at his site for a while now. Might just have to buckle down and do it.

I've "grip chopped" my full size Ruger SR9 down to the grip length of the SR9c (4" barrel w/compact grip) , but I've never done a S&W.
