The Colt Three Five Seven was the first of the I frame, or .41 Mid frame guns. It is the same frame size as the Python, and the Colt Official Police of the era. An old style blued hammer assembly can be had from Numrichs for $ 46.35 with part number #194950F, or in nickle for $ 71.60 under part # 201970. This is the same hammer used for the above mentioned guns.

Hmmm, well that might work. The frame mounted firing pin would definitely need to be removed. Still, it might be worth trying for $50. Thanks.

My bad, I missed the part about the frame mounted firing pin (like the Python). Numrich is currently out of stock, I wish you the best in finding the right hammer ...and I'll keep an eye out.
