I have a beretta and a Taurus in 25, both tip ups function well but both were used when I got them.

They look fun. I would suspect it would be a last resort option? I can't imagine reloading being very fast if you have to open the barrel and load a bullet before shooting again.

You don't have to, that's just a option if you want to load +1. Other wise put in a fresh mag.

I have one I bought used, but appeared to be unfired. I mainly bought it for my wife as a plinker. Initially it would FTE at least once every other mag on Remington Golden Bullets. The more we shot it the less it FTE. It runs CCI Mini Mags flawlessly (300 continuous rounds without cleaning). I must admit I like how it feels in my hand (it's fat grip) and it's fun to shoot. I like shooting it more than my Keltec P-32. The sights are pretty difficult to see, so I painted the front sight white for some contrast.

Oh, and as mentioned, its a very accurate little pistol!

I have a Beretta Bobcat in .25ACP. Bought it a long time ago. I used to carry it as a backup.
