    There is a REASON that I keep a lock on it. Defense handgun is in my possession, condition 1. Handgun's purpose is to get me to the rifle.

    Good story. Trigger locks/ gun storage/ safety vs protection, it’s all controversial topics. How and when things fail and what it cost only serve to enlighten these kinds of discussion. Was the price money, time, opportunity or ultimately life? How do we negate these problems? Everything has an unintended consequence.

    Great way to scratch the hell out of your gun. A 4lb hammer will get it off too. YouTube keeps that crap up and takes down legitimate gun videos. They really care about children.
