First off, over 40 tables/vendors of all sorts of ammunition and related items, ranging from 18th century paper cartridges to modern caseless experimentals. From tiny .17 cal. rimfires to 16 inch naval rounds. Military and commercial, old and new, common and very rare. There are usually guys there with reloading tools, shotshell boxes, advertising materials. Prices for cartridges can range from .25 to a few thousand. Lots of buying, selling, and trading going on. A cartridge show is a lot more laid back than your average gunshow, with lots of discussions, debates, and educating occurring.
No pressure; a great event to learn a bit and see what the ammo world is all about.

I gotta try and get there. I've got a few old boxes of Kynoch 404 Jeffery ammo that I've had for ages.

Does this happen anywhere else in the state? Seems like nothing cool happens on the west side.

No pickles, jerky, scrimshaw, purses, water softeners, "Cold-Dead-Fingers" hats, etc.

There's a cartridge show up in Williamsport every June, another in Ohio in October, a few more scattered in the mid and west-west, and a big one in St. Louis during the Easter week. Then there are shows in Europe......

I’m guessing no shooting ammunition in off calibers like 218bee, 303, etc.

Generally not common bulk shooting ammo, but if you're looking for a box or two of some obscure caliber, you could strike gold. I usually end up with a few boxes of shootable stuff.

    This week!!!
We got a full house, plenty of ammo will be in attendance. Great place to see what exists and to find those odd calibers, loads, manufacturers you've been looking for.
I've got some financial limits on guns I can buy, but no such thing for a decent ammo collection.
