"Qualifications" to do what, exactly?

To keep an eye on a prowler and call the cops?

To defend his own life when attacked without cause?

Zimmerman didn't attempt a citizen's arrest, he didn't wear a "CCW sash", he didn't do anything except try to keep an eye on someone acting suspiciously, while Zimmerman himself was in a public place, where Zimmerman had every right to be.

Zimmerman had the opinion that Martin was acting like a burglar. As it turned out, there's plenty of evidence to believe that Martin was a burglar, since he was found with the loot from another local burglary. So Zimmerman was at least qualified enough to correctly identify a likely burglar doing burglar things, like casing homes for possible burglaries.

After the fact evidence is great, but tailing someone when it is pitch black and raining, with a non-working flashlight, and you aren't sure who you up against, probably not so great.

I think you leaving out the fact where Trayvon was sent to live with his father, because he was out of control & suspended from school for breaking into lockers.

Trayvon's own twitter included references to assaulting a bus driver, I am sure the mockumentary leaves out those convenient facts as well.

Why is anyone surprised or against this? An unarmed kid got killed under questionable circumstances by guy with a lengthy violent streak who got away with it.

Everyone in the country knew about it and had an opinion. Now Hollywood is going to make a movie. Why wouldn't they? I am only surprised there hasn't been one already. It is overdue
