Millersburg (Dauphin Co) area ranges??
Hey folks,
Am relocating 50 miles north, just bought a home in Millersburg (Dauphin Co). Any one got recommendations for clubs/ranges with open memberships around that area? Would like to find at least 200 yds (300 yds would be awesome) but hey this is PA and understand a lot of clubs only have 100yd. Did some internet searching but found the info kind of vague and at times contradictory. One site claiming to list PA ranges and gun shops had links and none worked plus listed places I personally know have been closed for a decade or more.
As I shoot NRA HP and LR being able to accuracy test/practice at longer distance is kinda important. But am unwilling to drive an hour or more for a range day unless I have no choice or it offers something of unusual value like a 500+ yd range."I reject your reality and substitute my own"

Palmyra is not 20 miles from Millersburg.
OP, you are not finding a 200+ yard gun club in Millersburg. I grew up there and there is a range, but it's not 200 yards. You are either going to lower your requirements or you will simple need to drive further to get distance. I also suppose you can meet people and shoot on their land.
I have access to a farm in Lykens if/when I want to shoot at distance.

Make friends with a local farmer who needs some woodchucks eliminated. Best way to get some long range practice close to home.

Very familiar with PSA, I started their high power program back in the late 90's. Quite a bit farther then 20 miles from Mburg.

Re: Millersburg (Dauphin Co) area ranges??
Kinda figured, it's hard finding 200+. Harrisburg area is better off then most. Palmyra, Middletown, and Blue Mtn all have 200 yds. Blue Mtn may have 300 iirc. I'll be happy as long as there is a 100 yd range nearby. From what I'm seeing, the Millersburg Gun Club 100 yd range is less then 1 mile from the home Im buying. Settlement is today, WOO HOO!
Regardless of range convenience, I fell in love with the area when I went to see the house first time. Been hunkered down in a small 2 BR apartment for the last 3 years struggling to recover from a divorce where I walked away from a very nice home that I/we had just bought. Can't wait to get out of this town and apartment!!"I reject your reality and substitute my own"
