    Default Walther PP 32 acp

Considering one and can’t seem to find a chart anywhere to find date of manufacture and see if it’s in any way more “desirable”. Anyone know of a chart or able to determine? Serial number 425xxx
    Thanks!

You might want to consider a Makarov. They're superior to the PP in design. Lower part count. Parts kits and magazines for the Makarov are plentiful and inexpensive. The 9x18 is a more powerful round than the 32 ACP.

If you want a real Walther I understand. If you want what the Walther PP should have been, the Makarov is a nice firearm.

The Manhurin Walthers from 1945-roughly 1950 are Walthers made from Walther parts in France because the French did not want to be seen "aiding an ex-enemy" but needed pistols. I have one from 1948 that is a Walther that likes baguettes and Vin Rouge!! Dave_n
