Given that his OP is not believable this does not surprise me.

Personally, I don't know of any hunters that do it because they like killing things, but it seems as though you do. Sad really, would have thought that mankind as a whole has moved past that stage.
Well first of all I don't care what you personally think of my hunt in Paraguay and I didn't ask. So if you are just a guy on the internet who calls himself Streaker69 and wants me to take you opinion seriously, then sorry to let you down. Now if you are posting this as a "super" moderator, and your personal opinions have the rule of law around here, then you should post a policy or rule someplace that says we aren't allowed to talk about trophy hunting. But I don't think that is a policy. I think it is just your personal opinion, which I accept and shrug off.

Fortunately I did not buy my license from you, since you evidently wouldn't be able to help. Secondly jaguars are not endangered. You are wrong. "Endangered" is a real classification that has a defined meaning. They have never been classified as endangered, not even as "threatened" which is also a real classification. Currently they are categorized as "near threatened." In other words you are wrong by a magnitude of two.

Next, I did this hunt in 1984, which you would know if you had asked. In 1984 jaguars were rampant in Paraguay, and it is shocking and disappointing that I did not see one. If the license I had is no longer being offered, that doesnt surprise me, but I also doubt you would be the guy to ask.

If you read the history of the Oregon Trail and the westward migration, this was a fairly common (and fatal) occurrence......pull the shotgun/musket out of the wagon bed barrel first, the hammer catches on something and when it released............BOOM.
