United Bowhunters of PA - Early Fall 5C Doe Hunt. 9/20-9/23
https://ubofpa.org/events/10th-annual-5c-doe-bear-hunt
Check out the link above for details and contact and pre-registration info.
I went in the past twice and it is a great event. Basically for the price of a membership ($25) and a 5C doe Tag you get to hunt private farms that the UBOPA has mapped out for you to hunt. You can take a Doe or Black Bear if you have a tag. I was there the year a fellow from Western PA tagged a very large Black Bear with his bow. It was an eventful night at the Campground.
You get to hunt for 3 days prior to the Bow Opener in the rest of the state because 5C is a special Regs area.
You get to hang out and meet fellow bow hunters from across the state and make friends with fellow hunters.
You get to help out farmers in the 5C WMU control their deer population.
You get to participate in an event that is 100% positive. It helps to recruit fellow hunters, promotes the sport and show the public how beneficial hunting is for everyone.
Check it out. I am sure it will be great as it has always been.

Looks like a cool organization...these days I'm using a crossbow and leave my compound bow at home.
