Appleseed Shoot in Palmerton, PA

Hi all. Last weekend I had the opportunity to participate and complete an Appleseed Course. It's 2 days of Teaching, Shooting, and Rev. War History. The teaching/shooting consists of shooting with a sling only (no bipods, bags, or rests), in the standing, seated, and prone positions. Shooting at 100 yards (simulated at 25 yards with scaled targets) or full 100 yards. This was very challenging and fun. Not easy by any means. The instructors are well versed and helpful. I managed to score high enough to earn the Rifleman patch.

Now that you’re a Rifleman, you’re more than ready to shoot CMP and NRA high power matches at Langhorne Rod & Gun, Kimberton Fish & Game, and University Rifle Club.

Nah... just saying what I did, I wasn’t trying to brag. Others did better than I did.
Anyway, I’m not interested in high power, I’m happy plinking.
I was letting others know about the Appleseed Project and what it’s like.
