A little bit of flour in the bottles makes a nice effect. The kids had a mini production line going when it was time to reset targets. They are high maintenance, but the kids loved it.

Looks like they are worth trying.

Having lit off a (mostly) empty 200lb tank with a block of C-4, I wholeheartedly agree. Propane fireballs have quite the Wow factor.

I've superglued 5-6' of string to eggs and hung them from the lowest branches of a tree. They swing nicely and have a nice splatter effect when hit.... although not as exciting as a propane tank haha.
