In All Reality, There Were Three Shooters
I swear they're sad when something like this happens and they prevent unnecessary deaths. I know there is an inherent risk that comes with these incidents, but I believe overall the odds are much better when good people act.
Juan Carlos Nazario was sitting on a lakeside bench waiting to play soccer when he heard the staccato popping of gunshots outside Louie’s On the Lake, a popular waterfront grill and pub. He ran to his car to get his gun and moved toward the sounds.
Bryan Whittle was driving with his wife, heading off for a Memorial Day weekend getaway, when he saw a commotion outside Louie’s. He thought someone might be drowning, so instead of turning his truck onto the highway, he barreled into the parking lot to offer help. As he jumped out, what he learned stunned him: There was an active shooter just yards away, and wounded victims were holed up in the restaurant’s bathroom.
Whittle, too, grabbed his gun.
In a matter of seconds, the two armed citizens became self-appointed protectors, moving to take up positions around the shooter, drawing their weapons and shouting for him to drop his. Time stretched and warped. There was an exchange of gunfire. The gunman was hit several times and fell. As Nazario and Whittle converged over the man to restrain him, police arrived. Unsure who was who, officers handcuffed all of the men and put them on the ground as the shooter bled out into the grass and died."Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom, must, like men, undergo the fatigues of supporting it." — Thomas Paine

Of course liberals blame the citizen rescuers for creating the dangerous situation, and never the shooter himself!
Nobody complains about someone running into a burning house to save a mother and baby. No, save someone from a burning car or building and you get a medal... if you survive.
Heck, I remember seeing this and thinking the guy was retarded for going out on river ice for a deer. Nobody criticized him, even though that was just as dangerous as the restaurant shooting. And if he fell through, he'd have put first responders in danger.

The deer is more valuable than a human to a leftist.

I would expect even an off duty Police office to get cuffed up. A shooting scene is very hectic and cuffing up anyone with a gun should be expected. In this case, I applaud all the good guys with guns! All's well that ends well.

The NRA magazine America's 1st. Freedom interviewed Whittle and he said the police were not overly agressive when cuffing him and after sorting things out took them off.

The left was only upset because one of their voters was left to bleed out. If those meddling kids hadn't stepped, in Hilliary may have won!
