Thumbs up Were you ever unexpectedly floored by a performer?

John Moreland - You don't care for me enough to cry...

I randomly came across this video. At first I obviously noticed that this guy is frickin huge! Since I never heard of him I knew I HAD to give a quick listen. I tell ya, being a musician/performer for about 40 years has kinda given me the "seen it all, heard it all" syndrome. But goddamn! This guy singing this simple song with so much heart brought more than a single tear to my eyes. I couldn't believe what I was seeing and hearing.

Has anyone else ever had one of these moments that just blew you away when you least expected it?

This guy, singing such a simple song in his own way. It's too bad he died early.

Great pair of songs thanks for Sharing.
I can't remember the last time I felt both envy and pity for someone at the same.

Funny you post this, I was listening ing to Elvis songs this morning on YouTube and for some reason it put this in the playlist so I have listed to it a few times today.

Great stuff and it looks like he was well loved by many people.

The end of that video is his funeral. My wife has been a big fan of his for years. She said he was the only non-politician to ever lie in state in Hawaii.

Stopped me in my tracks when I heard this song in a bar in Surfside, TX. I was raised there and a lot of familiar areas are mentioned in the song which makes a difference.

It's better than having your ass hurt if you got back stage passes.
