Came close to being floored by a performer once.

The bass player for a band at a wedding couldn't hold time to save himself. It was unbearable to listen to, and during a break we were both in line at the beer taps and of course I could not hold my counsel. I told him about being off time, and he set the pitcher down on the table and took a swing at me. I saw it coming, in his expression and his windup, and took a leaning step back. The drummer got him stabilized and they headed off to their raised platform. The drummer said, "He's real sensitive about that."

I'm too young to have heard this originally, but I did find on youtube and it nearly brought me to tears.

For me it was Ozzy and it wasn’t his singing, it was his speech. WTF??!

I would have to give a shout out to the IWU (Indiana Wesleyan University) Chorale.
They arrived just before a huge blizzard so the show went on in spite of the weather.
The small crowd that made it there was surrounded by awesome vocalists, as in a circle of people, surrounding the crowd.
Their piano player was a senior, and his major was piano playing.
    Instant goosebumps.
Saw them a second time, with a bigger crowd, and it was less awesome... more amplified.

Many moons ago... went to see REO Speedwagon, and they had some band I'd never heard of opening for them. REO gave a good concert, but it was anti-climactic after Nazareth's opening act. A little "Hair of the Dog", anyone?
Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will...

Little Jackie Evancho had an unexpected voice from such a little child.
