Just recently saw a desert Eagle 357 mag slight ley used for $ 550,it was there in the case for about a week then sold up in Hawley !

My LGS does a lot of penny auctions. people get sucked into a bidding war and try to one up the other bidder. IIRC he has never lost on the penny auctions. He said he lets the market set the price. YMMV

And apparently they're worth more if you classify them as 'vintage' in the ads.

Oh and don't forget "Rare"
