I know we have a few grandfathers on the forum. What is the name your grandchildren call you?

I'm not a grandfather, but on my mom's side, it was Pappy, on dad's side it was Poppa.

Not a grandfather yet, but when I was a kid, my grandparents were Großvater and Großmutter on one side, and Gramps and Gram on the other.

Poppa. Until they both turned 13. Now, just Pop. :-) I liked them much better when they were 3 and 5. The girl is 13 going on 21. Looks like she's 18, or what her mother looked like at 18, but she's 3 inches taller than her mother already.

I have 3 boys and 1 girl. I'd rather have 10 boys than another girl. Not that I don't love her, but the drama level has and somewhat still is over the top. She's 26 and lives in Denver. But when she comes home, she knows how to push her brothers' buttons.

But I guess that what they mean by a girl's prerogative.
