Default CA Supreme Court rules in favor of their Micro Stamping Law

California State Supreme court ruled that even though micro stamping technology doesn’t exist, that fact doesn’t invalidate the law. Therefore California’s de facto ban on new semi auto handguns remains in effect.

Sad... ridiculous... but not unexpected. 9th Circus will double down. Perhaps, by the time it makes it to SCOTUS it'll be 6 to 3 to overturn "it doesn't exist, but if your handguns don't have it they aren't safe enough for civilians to own." This assumes Kamala Harris somehow doesn't become President.

one of the Many Problems in the DPRCA, is their primary voting process.

The top 2 vote getters, regardless of party, run against each other.

Given the overwhelming number of democrats, often EveryOne on the ballots is a democrate.
They call it an open primary, everyone else calls it a Jungle Primary.

It's brillent, really, all d all the time.

When will that pariah fall off into the ocean?

Once again, another law that fails to work for the intended target (aka criminals). A stolen gun won't have a micro-stamp registered to the shooter, I'm pretty sure. They are so idiotic.

So how does that work with ranges collecting brass for whole sale reloaders?

(assuming the microstamp thing even worked/existed)

If the actual case is marked - instead of the primer - reloading would have to be outlawed for microstamping to function as designed, which it won't anyway, but I digress. I don't see them having a problem with that.
