Default Looking for a FFL around Philadelphia (ATF 80-21)

    Hello,

I'm a student around Philadelphia, and am looking to purchase a handgun via ATF ruling 80-21. Would anyone know of a FFL in or near the city that accepts transfers through this ruling?

I've done quite a bit of searching, but none of the FFLs I've talked to have ever heard of 80-21; furthermore, PICS is claiming to them that I'd need a Pennsylvania state ID or driver's license. From the below thread, that shouldn't be the case, but I could always be mistaken.

While at the federal level, it MAY be legal, i don't think PA law allows for it, and then any FFL will most likely not want to deal with the potential issues associated with it

Give The Bunker Gun Shop in Warminster a try.

    549 York Road
    Warminster, Pennsylvania
    (215) 675-3796

I've seen them sell long guns to non-PA residents and handguns to student foreign nationals that meet the Visa & hunting license requirements. They're pretty knowledgeable about obscure stuff that many shops don't deal with often.

Hey, I'm also a student in Philly looking to buy a pistol (stripped lower for a pistol build). Please let me know if you find any stores that will allow you to use the ruling. I've also done some calling but everyone is telling me rifle/shotgun is okay for out-of-state ID, but not a pistol.

    An update to this thread:

It looks like The Bunker Gun Shop accepts transfers through ATF 80-21. Thanks for the help!
