Attention! There has been an influx of scammer signups!

The method of operation is to private message you and tell you that you should contact such 'n such person at a given email address.

Please report the private messages. Staff will ban the offender, and I will implement an IP ban. Unfortunately these scammers are using VPN/proxy services, which may mean your VPN/proxy may be blocked.
Attention! About VPN's and foreign IP addresses.

When signing up, do so from a US based Internet Service Provider. Turn off any VPN/safe-browsing feature. Failure to do so will result with your new account denied.

If you run into a IP ban afterwards as a member, again - turn off your VPN or switch servers. We do not ban legit Internet Service Providers from the USA(exception for certain individual IP addresses). Free VPN's tend to get banned too. We try not to ban legit subscription VPN services, but they rarely label their IP blocks correctly.

If you run into an IP ban, it likely wasn't you.

The problem is if you are calm and compliant, then you WONT be receiving any checks - because the court will never recognize a simple violation of the 4th (or 2nd) amendment that mildly inconvenienced you as being worthy of damages. To receive real "checks", you'll need to be beaten, shot, or utterly humiliated in front of a large crowd. And the only way for that to happen is to exert your rights from the get go and stand firm. Is that what I would do? Not sure, never been in that situation. Probably not.
