There's a fledgling peregrine falcon on the ground in New Holland. It's been there since at least 9 o'clock this morning. I know it's generally best to let nature take its course. And if it were any other bird, I'd leave it be, but there are way too many feral cats around here.

I left a message with the Game Commission, but haven't heard back. I googled raptor rehabilitation near me and found Red Creek Nature Center in Schuylkill Haven. They were helpful, but don't have the manpower to drive all the way down here. They suggested that I try and catch it in a box and slide a board under it. But when I approached, it was (understandably) freaking out. I figured I would do more harm than good, so I backed off.

I'll keep checking on it in the meantime, but if anyone knows of a qualified person who can come out and take a look, please PM me.

I'll cross-post this in the Lounge. Thanks!
