Just curious, why would someone buy a bump stock BEFORE finding a place that would allow you to shoot it?

I have known at least 5 guys who bought .50 cal rifles and then learned many ranges won't allow them.

    Oops!

Ouch. I guess that's why they put all the really fun stuff right next to the cash register.

Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.

    You’re welcome.
Thanks, I'll look into that place and see what they say.

Because I'm willing to do whatever it takes to put it to use. Even if I have to drive further out once or twice a year, that's fine by me. I wouldn't be doing bump-fire full auto more than 2x a year anyway just because ammo is pricey.

A lot of people bought theirs online. I haven't set foot inside a gun shop in almost a decade now. My decision to buy a bump stock wasn't an impulse buy. It was something that I carefully considered after a year of thinking about it.

Look, I didn't pick the screen name I did to troll people with. I did it just to show that not everyone falls into the cookie-cutter Democrat and Republican positions portrayed by the media. I'm a misfit with both major political parties and I'm sick and tired of all the stereotyping that goes on in this country. I can't tell you the number of times people just assumed out of the blue that I'm a Republican because I own guns and support the ownership of semi-auto and full auto rifles. I've encountered a decent number of people who thought that I support open borders/loose immigration standards just because I'm a socialist. Try getting to know someone instead of just isolating one characteristic of that individual and assuming you know everything about that individual based on that one characteristic.

Your gonna need thicker skin. Pretty sure most are just having a bit of fun. It's no different if i changed my user name to 2nd_amendment_democrat. You have to expect people to balk at the name a little.

LOL, that’s redneck country, you just go and shoot.

As long as it’s legal, safe and don’t leave a mess, you can do what you want.

Oh, and be nice to the fellas that keep it in good shape so it doesn’t get shut down.
